Always start in the center circle with what you want the students to Make/Do, who the Audience should be or where you want your students to Exhibit their work. Once your team narrows down the center circle to your favorite idea, then you can move to the outside. Create a timeline with assessments to ensure that students are assessed regularly in each class. Come up with interesting "Entry Events" that will hook the students into the content and try to space these events out every 2 weeks to keep the kids engaged in the project. Lastly, determine what Essential Skills are connected in each class and write a Driving Question that can be revisited throughout the project so the students know the goal of the project. |
